🛞 TIP TUESDAY: Why Do Tires Turn Brown?

That brown color on your tires isn’t always dirt! 👀

Tires contain protective compounds that can migrate to the surface over time. When exposed to oxygen, ozone, and UV rays, those compounds can oxidize and create what we commonly call tire blooming or browning.

That means a browned tire isn’t necessarily a sign that it’s dirty or damaged.

A proper tire cleaning can remove surface dirt and contamination, but browning can sometimes remain or return over time.

So the next time you notice brown tires, remember—there may be more going on than just dirt! 🛞

Have you ever noticed your tires turning brown? 👇

🚗 Tip Tuesday: Clean Doesn’t Have to Mean Shiny

A tire doesn’t have to look wet or glossy to be clean. 🛞✨

Heavy tire dressing can give tires that deep, glossy appearance, but more shine doesn’t necessarily mean a cleaner tire. In fact, excessive product can attract dust and road grime and leave the tire looking greasy.

💡 Tip: Focus on properly cleaning the tire first. Once the dirt and buildup are removed, you can decide whether you want a natural finish or a little extra dressing.

Sometimes clean and natural-looking is the better finish. 💎🫧

🚗 Tip Tuesday: Be Careful Around Your Grille! ⚠️

Grilles can look tough, but not every grille is made to handle aggressive scrubbing.

Different vehicles use different types of plastic, finishes, coatings, and trim—and some can be surprisingly delicate!

💡 Tip: When cleaning your grille, start with a gentle approach and avoid excessive pressure. Let your cleaning products and tools do the work rather than trying to force stubborn buildup off. 🧽

A clean grille is great—but cleaning it without damaging the finish is even better. 💎🫧

🚗 Tip Tuesday: Your Microfiber Can’t Reach Everything 🧽

Microfiber towels are great for wiping down smooth surfaces, but they’re not always enough to remove dirt from your interior.

Dashboards, door panels, buttons, vents, and textured plastics have tiny grooves and uneven surfaces where dust and grime can settle. A towel can glide right over the top without actually getting into those areas.

💡 Tip: Use a soft detailing brush to gently agitate textured surfaces before wiping them down. The brush works its way into those small grooves and helps lift dirt that a microfiber towel can miss.

It’s a small step, but it’s one of the reasons professional interior cleaning can look noticeably different from a quick wipe-down at home. 💎🫧

🚗 Tip Tuesday: Your Front Bumper Is Taking a Beating

Every highway drive leaves behind bug splatter, and while it may seem harmless, leaving it on your paint for days or weeks can make it much harder to remove. Combined with summer heat, bug residue can stain or damage your vehicle’s clear coat over time.

💡 Tip: The sooner you wash bug residue off, the easier it is to remove. If it’s already dried on, let a bug remover or automotive soap soak for a few minutes before gently washing the area—don’t scrape or aggressively scrub it.

Your front bumper takes the most abuse, so a little extra attention goes a long way! 💎🫧
