Sunroof Drains ☀️

A sunroof isn’t completely sealed from water—and that’s actually by design. Most sunroofs have small drainage channels and tubes that collect water and direct it safely away from the interior.

Over time, leaves, pollen, dirt, and debris can build up in these channels and restrict water flow. A clogged sunroof drain can lead to water backing up into your headliner, carpets, or even electrical components.

✅ Tip: Keep your sunroof track clean by regularly wiping away debris with a microfiber towel. If you notice slow draining, the drains can be carefully cleaned with a purpose-made flexible sunroof drain brush or gently flushed with clean water. Avoid using metal wires or forcing anything through the drain, as this can damage or disconnect the tube.

A little preventative maintenance can help protect your vehicle from costly water damage!

🚗 Tip Tuesday: Don’t Forget Your Seat Rails!

Your seat rails collect more than just dust. Coins, crumbs, pet hair, road salt, and other debris can build up over time, making them harder to clean and, in some cases, interfering with smooth seat movement.

💡 Tip: Slide your seat all the way forward and all the way back when vacuuming so you can reach the entire track. Using compressed air or a vacuum crevice tool helps remove debris hiding deep inside the rails.

It’s one of those small details that most people never notice—until it’s packed with dirt.

After the front passenger window was shattered and glass ended up throughout the interior, this Subaru needed more than just a quick vacuum. Every piece of glass was carefully removed, and the interior was restored to a clean, safe condition.

Don’t Ignore Your Door Seals! 🚗

Rubber door seals collect dirt, moisture, and road salt. Over time, this can cause them to dry out, crack, or even stick during cold weather.

✅ Wipe them down regularly with a damp microfiber towel.

✅ Apply a silicone-based protectant every few months to help keep the rubber soft and conditioned.

A few minutes of maintenance can help extend the life of your seals and prevent costly replacement down the road.

Keeping up with the small details can make a big difference in your vehicle’s appearance and longevity.
