🚗☀️ FLORIDA DRIVERS — BUG SPLATTER IS MORE THAN JUST A MESS.

If you drive Florida roads, especially during love bug season, you’ve probably seen what happens to the front of a vehicle after a drive. What many people don’t realize is that insect remains can contain acidic compounds and digestive enzymes that may begin attacking the clear coat when they’re left on the paint too long.

And here in Florida, our heat and intense sunlight can make the problem worse. The residue can dry and bake onto the surface, making it harder to remove and increasing the chance of staining, etching, and permanent damage to the finish.

1997 Nissan 240SX — clearcoat overspray removal + polish. 🔴✨

This 240SX had been previously repainted, and clearcoat overspray had bonded to the painted surfaces, leaving the finish rough, hazy, and lacking the clarity and gloss it should have.

Clearcoat overspray can create a textured layer on top of the existing finish. Instead of light reflecting evenly from the paint, that contamination scatters the reflection and makes the vehicle appear dull.

We carefully removed the bonded clearcoat overspray before polishing the finish to restore clarity, gloss, and depth.

With a repainted vehicle, this process needs to be approached carefully. You don’t always know the exact paint system, clearcoat thickness, or how the previous work was performed. Using too much aggression or the wrong technique can create unnecessary damage.

That’s why overspray removal isn’t simply about getting the contamination off — it’s about knowing how to remove it safely while preserving the finish underneath.

1997 Nissan 240 — bringing the original OEM wheels back to life. 🛞✨

These factory wheels looked like they hadn’t had a proper deep cleaning in quite some time. We performed a complete wheel off detail, including the face, spokes, inner barrels, and backside of the wheels.

It’s not often we get to see the front AND back of an original set of OEM wheels this clean again. The amount of buildup that can collect over the years is easy to overlook — especially on the backside where most people never see it.

This was more than just a quick wheel cleaning. It was a restoration of the original wheels while preserving the OEM appearance.
