🔬🔥 THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! 🔥🔬

This Olympus BX53 might be one of the most beautiful metallurgical microscopes we’ve ever sent out at Munday Scientific.

There’s just something about a BX53 configured for metallurgical work that looks as good as it performs. This system is headed out to its new home, and we’re going to have a hard time watching this one leave the shop! 😂

We love putting these systems together, testing every function, and making sure they’re ready to go to work for many years to come.

What a microscope! 🔬👏

🔬 Another microscope delivered, installed, and ready to work in Minnesota!

Last week, we sent this Olympus IX51 inverted microscope with phase contrast to a new startup drug manufacturer in Minnesota.

Our friends at Blais Microscope completed the local installation and will be taking over the preventative maintenance contract moving forward. David and his team did a great job getting everything set up, and the finished setup looks great!

This is a perfect example of how we work with microscope professionals across the country to make sure our customers have great equipment AND dependable local service after the sale.

Another Olympus IX51 back in service and ready to go to work! 🔬🧪💊

🔬 One last repair on this Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend!

Danny was able to get the old, worn-out belt out of this Olympus SZX12 stereo microscope and replace it with a brand-new one — bringing this scope right back to life. 🔧🙌

The SZX12 may be an older model, but it’s still a GREAT microscope. With the right maintenance and repairs, these scopes can keep working for many more years.

This one is getting packed up and shipped back out to our customer in California today! 📦➡️🌴

Another microscope saved from being replaced and ready to get back to work!

🔬 This teaching system with discussion bridges is headed to a community college, and we love how it turned out!

One of our favorite features is the heads-up display camera system. It gives the instructor another great way to demonstrate what’s being viewed under the microscope while helping keep students engaged and the classroom organized.

Combined with the discussion bridges, this setup gives instructors a powerful tool for teaching microscopy in a hands-on classroom environment.

We hope it brings a ton of value to the instructors and students for many years to come!

🔬 Another Olympus BX41 upgraded and ready to roll!

Last week, we installed this Olympus BX41 with our new LED conversion kit featuring an internal mount at a local customer’s facility.

These folks are growing fast! 🚀 This will be the third microscope they’ve purchased from us, and we’re grateful to continue being a part of their growth.

There’s nothing better than watching a customer expand, add equipment, and take their work to the next level. We can’t wait to see where this next microscope takes them!

Need to upgrade an existing microscope to LED or add another system to your lab? Give Munday Scientific & Microscope Marketplace a call! 🔬💡

This one was a tough one to pull off! 🔬📦

We’re a little short-staffed right now with vacations, and yesterday at 3:00 PM a customer called needing a microscope Second Day Air so they could have it in place for a new pathologist starting Monday.

The problem? Most everybody was either out on service calls, on vacation, or already tied up. It was basically Melissa, Chad, and Danny holding down the fort.

But Danny and Chad jumped on it, put the system together, got everything tested, packed it up, and we were able to get it in the box and out the door the same day! 💪🔬

It took some hustling, but that’s what we do at Munday Scientific & Microscope Marketplace when a customer is in a bind.

It’s headed out Second Day Air, and Lord willing, it’ll be sitting at the customer’s facility Friday—ready for their new pathologist on Monday. 🙏📦

Great teamwork by Melissa, Danny, and Chad to make this one happen!

🔬 A little something different on the bench this week at Munday Scientific & Microscope Marketplace!

We’ve been working with a client on these ultramicrotomes, and we recently brought in a specialist to get them tuned up and dialed in just right.

We then did a virtual demo with the client so they could see the systems in action — and they loved them! 🙌 These units are now getting ready to head out the door to their new home.

Not everything on our bench is a traditional microscope. We love getting the opportunity to work with specialized laboratory equipment like this too!

😂 Scott Munday was like a celebrity at NIH yesterday!

He hadn’t been out to NIH in several months, and as soon as he showed up, people started coming out of the woodwork:

“Hey, Scott!” 👋
“Scott! Good to see you!”
“Where have you been?” 😂

After all these years of working with so many great people at NIH, Scott has built relationships that go way beyond just servicing microscopes. 🔬

It was good to get him back out in the field — apparently his fan club has been waiting on him! 😂👏

Chad with Munday Scientific is going over this absolutely decked-out Olympus BX51 microscope!

This BX51 has just about everything you could ever want on a microscope — polarization, brightfield, darkfield, multiple polarizers and analyzers, and a fully loaded optical setup. 🔬

In this video, Chad walks through the setup, shows how the different components work, and highlights what makes the Olympus BX51 such a versatile platform.

This thing is loaded, fully serviced, and ready to work!
