If you’re shopping for bath towels, check the label before you buy.

As someone who has washed more towels than I can count, I always reach for 100% cotton because:

✨ They’re more absorbent
✨ They feel softer against your skin
✨ They get better with use and washing
✨ They’re more breathable
✨ They dry you off faster

A lot of blended towels may look fluffy in the store, but they often don’t absorb water as well as good-quality cotton.

Sometimes the simplest upgrade to your bathroom isn’t expensive decor—it’s a towel that actually does its job.

Bleach is not the magic cleaner people think it is. 👀

As a professional house cleaner, I avoid using Clorox bleach in most homes because:
• It can damage surfaces over time
• The fumes are harsh for kids, pets, and families
• Mixing it incorrectly can be dangerous
• It often masks odors instead of actually cleaning the source
• There are safer products that clean just as well (sometimes better)

A clean home should feel fresh — not like a chemical attack. 😅

Professional cleaning is about using the RIGHT products, not the strongest-smelling ones.

Your air filter is probably dirtier than you think 👀

As a professional house cleaner, one of the biggest things I notice in homes is how much dust builds up from old air filters. A dirty filter can affect your air quality, make your HVAC work harder, and leave your home dusty way faster.

✨ General rule:
• Every 30–60 days if you have pets, allergies, or kids
• Every 90 days for most homes
• Check it monthly if you run your AC a lot

A few signs it’s time to change it:
✔️ More dust on surfaces
✔️ Allergy symptoms getting worse
✔️ Musty smell in the house
✔️ Weak airflow from vents
✔️ Your filter looks gray or clogged

The best cleaning tools are usually the simplest ones 👏🏼

As a professional house cleaner, white terry towels are one of my go-to essentials. They’re durable, easy to sanitize, and you can actually SEE the dirt you’re removing instead of spreading it around your home.

Plus, they hold up so much better over time compared to constantly buying disposable products. 🤍🧼

POV: your laundry pods are costing you more than you think 👀🧺

As a professional house cleaner, I don’t recommend Tide Pods for a few reasons:
• They don’t always dissolve completely
• They can leave residue on clothes & machines
• Harder to control how much detergent you’re actually using
• And they’re one of the biggest culprits behind buildup in washers

Liquid detergent gives you way more control and usually cleans just as well for less 💁🏻‍♀️

POV: the professional house cleaner in me can’t do colorful sheets anymore 😂

White sheets tell you when they’re actually clean, you can bleach/sanitize them without ruining the color, and they instantly make your room feel like a hotel. Plus… no mystery stains hiding in the fabric 👀

Once you switch to white sheets, it’s hard to go back. 🤍
