To help control fleas, ticks and chiggers, you should make sure to keep all the leaves picked up in your yard and keep your lawn mowed on a regular basis. By keeping the grass short it takes away harborage that the insects need to survive. Check your pets regularly for ticks and fleas. Treat them monthly with a good pest control for pets. It is also a good idea to treat your yard monthly with a liquid or granular pestacide for fleas and ticks.
