I folded several loads at their home. Medical issues had caused them to get behind and catching up seemed impossible. I took the rest of the dirty laundry home to wash, fold, and deliver.

For most people this side hustle seems silly because who can't wash their own laundry? I'm thrilled that this new client reached out and asked for help when they needed it.😊

I shake each garmet, separate the 🧦 and 🩲 and wash those as a separate load. If I find a single sock while folding, I'll send it home and let you know.

Yesterday's client had a 19lb bag of all colors and a 9lb bag of whites. Pick-up was around 10am, and I was finished by 4pm. Their freshly washed and folded laundry was delivered this morning. 👕👖🩲🩳🧦👚

I don't understand how this works? I get asked this a lot. Let me show you a typical day for an "In-home wash and fold laundry" service.

Customer schedules an early Monday morning pickup. I weigh the bags for the customer before I leave their house. This order weighed 32.35 lbs total.

I drive home, start sorting. This order was sorted as: bath towels, kitchen towels, shirts & sweatshirts, jeans, underwear & socks, and business wear.

I had six total loads, started at 10:30. Had everything washed, folded, and hung by 3:00. Because my other business was most of the morning, I was able to turnaround this order on the same day and not the usual 24-48hrs.
