Ever wonder what ends up hiding in your carpet after a few years? 😭 I genuinely have no idea what this orange stuff was, but it definitely wasn’t coming out without a fight.

This 2019 Toyota RAV4 in Daly City got a full interior detail with deep carpet cleaning, steam cleaning, and a full reset from top to bottom. Watching everything come back to life is always the best part.

Some cars just need a quick cleanup. Others… need a pick before we can even start. 😂

Anyone else clean their Scrub Ninja with the pressure washer? 😂

I started doing this after details where the pad is absolutely loaded up, and honestly it gets a surprising amount of dirt out before the next job.

Not saying it’s the only way to clean them, but it’s been working pretty well for me. Curious if anyone else does this or if you’ve got a better method.

What was bro eating… and how long was it sitting in the car? 😭

We pulled out what looked like an entire black-skinned chicken wing buried inside a container of thick, coagulated soup. It may have originally been a black chicken herbal soup, but after sitting in the vehicle for who knows how long, it had turned into something completely unrecognizable.

What do you think this food originally was?

Thought this Porsche Cayenne detail was over before it even started.

A few minutes into setting up, security let us know the noise was bothering nearby residents, so we packed everything up and moved to a new spot before getting back to work. Definitely not how we planned to start the morning, but the finished result made it worth it.

One of the best parts of mobile detailing is adapting to whatever the day throws at you. Whether it’s changing locations, working around weather, or finding the best setup, the goal is always the same: deliver a result that looks better than when we arrived.

This full detail brought the carpets back to a deep black finish, restored crisp carpet lines, and gave the entire Porsche a fresh, clean look inside and out.

Fake check scams often target new small businesses because the payment can appear available before the bank fully confirms that the check is legitimate.

The biggest warning sign is simple: someone sends more money than you charged, then asks you to forward part of it to a driver, contractor, shipping company, or another third party.

Even when the funds show as available, the check can still be returned later, leaving the business responsible for whatever money was sent out.

A few rules we follow now:

Never send money back from an overpayment.
Verify suspicious payments directly with the bank’s fraud department.
Do not let urgency or a large booking override obvious red flags.
Trust your instincts when the details stop making sense.

We learned this lesson early while building our mobile car detailing business, and it is one of the main reasons we no longer accept checks.

Interior detailing is all about working smarter, not just scrubbing harder.

Tight areas like center consoles, seat rails, buttons, cup holders, and trim gaps are where dirt and cleaner love to hide. The biggest mistake is rushing straight into brushing without giving the cleaner time to break down the grime first.

A simple process makes a big difference:

Cleaner, dwell time, agitation, wipe down, then air to blow out anything trapped inside the crevice.

For mobile detailers, an air compressor setup is ideal, but a small USB-C air duster can still help a lot if you’re working out of a compact setup or just trying to speed up interior details.
