On behalf of Kathy and the Payne family they would like to thank you for all your heartfelt messages, prayers, calls,texts and the amazing photos that you have posted of Willie. As you can imagine, there have been so many messages, and Kathy is taking time to slowly go through every single one of them. Your love and support has been tremendous, and as soon as Kathy is able to put into words what she is feeling, she will post a message to you all. In the meantime please know that she is grateful for your tremendous love and support. As you all know Willie and Kathy are great supporters of live jazz and in Memory of Willie, Kathy has set up a fund to help jazz musicians during COVID-19, she feels this is something Willie would want.
