๐ค Ever notice how a pet urine odor seems to disappear after cleaning... only to come right back a few days later?
The reason is simple.
In many cases, the contamination isn't just in the carpet fibers anymore. It's in the carpet backing, the pad underneath, and sometimes even the subfloor below.
A surface cleaning may improve the appearance and temporarily reduce the odor, but if the contamination below isn't addressed, it remains trapped beneath the carpet. As the area dries, that contamination can wick back toward the surface, bringing the odor right back with it.
Think of it this way: cleaning only the top of the carpet is like cleaning only the surface of a toilet bowl while leaving what's underneath untouched.
In this case, we applied a professional enzyme treatment designed to break down urine contamination at the source. After allowing proper dwell time, we used our Water Claw extraction system to flush and recover contamination from deep within the carpet and pad.
That's what you're seeing in this video.
Not just cleaning the surface.
Addressing the source.
Have you ever had a pet odor disappear for a few days and then come right back?
