The Dodge Charger S**t Pack represents the direct evolution of classic American muscle into the modern era. The S**t Pack name first appeared in 1968, used by Dodge to identify its highest-performance vehicles—cars built around big V8 power, minimal compromise, and quarter-mile dominance during the height of the muscle car wars.

Today’s Charger S**t Pack carries that same philosophy. At its core is the 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI V8, producing 485 horsepower, a modern interpretation of the high-displacement engines that defined late-’60s Chargers. The Lamborghini Urus traces its DNA back to an unexpected place: the LM002 of the 1980s—a military-inspired, off-road monster originally developed for armed forces and desert warfare. Built around a massive V12, the LM002 proved Lamborghini could combine extreme performance with all-terrain capability, even if the military contract never fully materialized.

Decades later, Lamborghini revisited that idea with a new mission: create an SUV that didn’t dilute the brand, but expanded it. In the early 1970s, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran, approached Mercedes-Benz with a specific demand: build an indestructible, all-terrain military vehicle capable of surviving extreme heat, rough terrain, and combat conditions. The result was the Geländewagen—a boxy, ladder-frame 4x4 with solid axles, three locking differentials, and zero concern for comfort. It was engineered first for military use and adopted by armed forces across Europe and beyond.

Over time, civilians took notice. Farmers, explorers, and governments trusted it because it simply would not fail. As demand grew, Mercedes refined it—adding safety, then comfort, then prestige—without ever abandoning the original chassis and off-road hardware.
