Say hello to our featured Member Barry Garson, Regional Business Development Director of J&M Keystone Restoration. Barry joined BOMA San Diego in 2003 and over the past 18 years, he has contributed many hours volunteering on different BOMA Committees as a Member, a Chairperson and serving on the Board of Directors.

Barry’s favorite leadership role was serving as the first Chairperson of the Emergency Preparedness Committee. He helped create the Committee’s focus and vision, which included organizing a panel event on high rise safety and active shooters. He also enjoys being a BOMA Ambassador because he loves helping our Members be successful in BOMA. He values the amazing community of high level professionals, many of whom have now become friends over the years. He said “ it feels good to start others on that same journey to experience that as well for themselves.”

Fun fact about Barry - Barry learned how to surf when he was 12 years old and continues to surf today! He loves the beauty of being in the ocean, and finds it thrilling to glide down big waves and seeing the occasional dolphin or seal.

For today's Member Monday, we'd like to introduce you to Barry Garson of J&M Keystone. Barry has been a partner at J&M for 21 years and is their VP of customer experience and business development.

Barry has been a BOMA member for 18 years! His past leadership roles include chairing the Special Events and Emergency Preparedness Committees and serving on the Board of Directors (BOD) for multiple years. He currently participates in the Special Events, Government Affairs and Membership & Emerging Leaders Committees.

Fun fact about Barry: he worked as an extra in many TV commercials and shows including "SWAT", "Medical Center", McDonald’s, One A Day Vitamin, and a Magic Mountain promotion for a buccaneer ship ride (his favorite by far). He used his earnings to buy his first car. Thank your for your membership, Barry!
