Fun things to plan for when you visit San Diego. Your trip doesn’t have to be all about the big attractions or sandy beaches. There’s so much more the city has to offer that is family friendly. City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department Visiting San Diego San Diego

I was a high school student, just doing what I normally do. Took my baby brother to the babysitter. The first thing out of her mouth wasn’t hi as always. It was, did you see? With the confused look on my face she, pushed me into the living room and to the front of the tv. I gasped but quickly needed to recover. So I could continue on the mile walk to school. With every step, all I could think of is what I seen. When I made it to school and got with my group of friends. We as well as the whole school were talking about the small glimpse or short radio bits we heard of what was happening states away. Finally it was time for class and our first few teachers had radios or tvs on playing what was happening until the principal told them it was time to stop and have us go about our day. But it was hard. How can we act as if all is normal when people were being killed in a horrible way that made absolutely no sense to any of us. Finally the day came to an end and I got home as quickly as I could, went into the room with my mom and we watched the news together until I couldn’t take anymore. I went to my room and cried. Then I did what I’ve always done after watching something that upset me. Found a comedy to laugh. The next day my sister and I put a candle outside of our apartment for those lost. It’s insane that was 25 yrs ago but still feels like it happened yesterday. There are people still suffering from the effects of that day. 25 years later, there’s still pain and suffering from something horrible, that we just don’t understand. #911
