Announcement!! The Good Broom is making some changes in part to economic factors and life events please bare with us.
This cleaning list has always been our cleaning list for our weekly and bi weekly cleans and won’t be changing.
Changes: If your house requires a deeper clean additional charges will be charged and payment expected at the time of the cleaning. I have assigned weeks to rotational items. We also will not be doing any cleans on Tuesdays. Tuesdays are our co-op days with our children and we will not be cleaning past 1630 during the rest of the week except in the case of move out cleans. If we give you a quote please understand that’s what it is a quote, not always the final price. If we show up and determine that there’s more work to be done then included in the original quote (example lots of dog hair or crayon to be removed, excessively dirty oven/stove or fridge, human f***s or bodily fluids to be cleaned) additional charges will be added on to the final bill. This goes for all cleans. If you have a request for something to be added to your clean you must request that a minimum of 24 hours before your clean; example clean air intakes.

❑ Hard floors steamed cleaned
❑ Cobwebs removed
❑ Wall hangings dusted
❑ Ceiling fan blades lightly dusted
❑ Waste baskets emptied
❑ Light dusting of blinds and window treatments
❑ Windowsills lightly dusted
❑ Baseboards and door frames lightly dusted
❑ Clean one sliding door

Bedrooms
❑ Furniture Dusted
❑ Mirrors Cleaned
❑ Beds made (linens changed if requested and sitting on bed)
❑ Wall hangings and pictures dusted
❑ Lamps and shades dusted
❑ Floors vacuumed

Kitchen
❑ Range hood and stove top cleaned
❑ Inside and outside of microwave cleaned
❑ Refrigerator front and top cleaned
❑ Back splash and counter tops cleaned and sanitized
❑ Sink cleaned and sanitized
❑ Floors vacuumed and cleaned
❑ Cabinets spot cleaned
Notes:
❑ Appliances wiped down and shined

Living Rooms/Family Rooms
❑ Windowsills and treatments lightly dusted
❑ Lamps and shades dusted
❑ Furniture dusted
❑ Wall hangings dusted
❑ Ceiling fan blades lightly dusted
❑ Floors vacuumed and mopped (if hard floors)

Bathrooms
❑ Tile and behind tub cleaned
❑ Toilet cleaned and disinfected
❑ Mirror and tile ledges cleaned
❑ Counter tops cleaned
❑ Sink bowl cleaned
❑ Light fixtures dusted
❑ All chrome shined
❑ Floors vacuumed and mopped

Extra’s/Add-on’s (Free to weekly and Bi-weekly Clients on a rotational basis)
❑ Clean outside of Cabinets (week 1)
❑ Detail Cleaning of blinds (week 2)
❑ Sweep and Clean porches (week 3)
❑ Wet wipe baseboards and Trim (week 4) heavy furniture will not be moved easily moveable furniture will be moved
❑ Vacuum Furniture (one room) (week 5)
❑ Wet wipe windowsills and frames (week 6)
❑ Wet wipe door facings and frames (week 7)

When an owner needs help cause he bought a bunch of new apartments to throw on VRBO and Airbnb and it includes lunch and swimming with work it becomes a family event and when the owner trusts you to boss everyone around cause you get things done you know your a queen! 3 couches, 3 end tables, 1 bed all put together. 1 load on a dolly, 3 boxes in one persons hands and more to go.

We had the privilege of doing a 2 bedroom move out clean for a single service member and their dog last night. We are still doing occasional evening move out cleans and weekend move out cleans for a very small additional fee.

Today we had 4 vacation rental cleans and tonight we have a move out clean. It’s always a good thing when we are kept this busy and we appreciate all the support. Once we have our second car up and running again we will be able to take on a couple more new clients. Thank you for all the love and support you have shown us since we opened a short 60 days ago.

Tonight after it cooled off we got the opportunity to help another family onto their next journey in their army career. I included some before and after and the dirty sink water is from moping the kitchen floor by hand because the mop battery died. Thank you for being patient and kind. Safe travels.
