New uniforms are here! 🏆If you missed the prank we played on the team during voting make sure to go back and check it out!

Pool pros already know- When you walk into a backyard in a matching shirt with your company name on it, the homeowner knows you’re a pro before you open the gate.

Your gear says the same thing. That’s why our family builds Spartan leaf rakes with a 17.5 inch heavy duty frame. The fine mesh one even comes with a Wear Guard. A good-looking shirt is great, but your tools have to show up too.

Big shout out to RevdUp Apparel for making sure we were geared up properly!

Pool pros, be honest. Who’s the prankster on your crew? 😂

Every team has one. On ours it’s basically everybody, and Dad still never sees it coming.

Something we’ve learned growing up around the warehouse: the people laughing in this video are the same people who build, pack, and ship the poles on your truck. They work hard all day, and they still have energy left over to trick the boss. That’s the kind of crew we’d want making our tools.

If you’ve never held a Skimlite pole in person, ask your local pool supply store if they carry us. Extend one, lock it, and see how it feels before it goes on your truck.

Tag the prankster on your crew. We need ideas for round two.

Pool pros, we have a question. What’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever found in a backyard? 🎈

Spooky season on a pool route is almost year round.

Leaves in the fall. Frogs in the skimmer. Mystery stuff at the bottom of the deep end that nobody wants to touch.

That’s why our family makes poles that keep you a safe distance away. The CarbonLite is 100% carbon fiber and comes in 14, 17, and 21 feet, so you can reach the far side of the pool without getting too close to whatever’s hiding over there.

Tell us your creepiest backyard find. We read every one. 👻

A Skimlite CarbonLite makes a pretty good guitar. It’s 100% carbon fiber, and the 14, 17, and 21 foot poles weigh about 3 to 4 pounds. That’s light enough for a really long solo.

A team of pool pros is a lot like a band... There’s the tech who never misses a beat. The one who keeps the whole route on rhythm. And the one who shows up loud and still gets every stop done.

Our warehouse crew is our band. Glenn, Synjin, and Chris are a few of the team behind the orders that go out to pros all over the country. And we're really grateful that they still make time for Taylor's social media ideas.

We designed new Skimlite uniforms for the team. Then we hid them under the wildest designs we could come up with. 😂

The plan was to watch everyone try* to be polite.
The problem is that everyone was TOO polite.

Nobody would tell us they were bad!
Our team really is the best... but maybe too nice.

The team voted, and we have a winner.

Pool pros, would your crew be honest about questionable uniform designs, or would they be nice like ours?

Follow along to see the winning design!

Grandpa Jim has a lot of stories. This one is our favorite.

A pool guy walked up to him at a trade show in Florida and told him that everything he does in this industry is attached to a telescopic pole. So he wanted to start with the best one he could get.

And he said Skimlite was it.

Grandpa says that’s the one thing that has stuck with him the longest. Honestly, we get it. Our family at Team Skimlite made that. 🥹

To every pool pro who has ever stopped by a booth to tell someone their stuff works: they remember you.

10/19/2026

We told Dad everyone was jumping together. Everyone was not jumping together. 😂

Pool pros, you know that one person on your crew who trusts everybody? That’s our dad. Which is honestly nice, especially when Taylor and I want to try to prank him.

We got some really good behind the scenes footage of this one. If anyone wants to see it- Comment “BTS” and we’ll get it posted...despite dad's feelings about it.

Dad got asked for his honest opinion on a trend he’s seeing in the pool industry. He answered with two words: carbon fiber.

Then he said the part we think every pool pro already knows. “Cheaper is better” is out the window.

If a tool makes your day easier and your job go smoother, it’s worth it. Your arms at the last stop of the day would probably agree. 💪

Okay, pool pros. What’s one tool you’d never go cheap on again?

Part 3 of the Tape Measure Challenge. The front office team went first. Then the warehouse team. Now it’s our family’s turn.

The rules: stop the tape at exactly 12 inches without looking at the numbers.

Dad stopped at 13. Grandpa Jim stopped at 11. So between the two of them, they nailed it. 😅

Pool pros, you’d probably crush this. You eyeball measurements all day.

Go back and watch Parts 1 and 2, then tell us who on Team Skimlite did it best.

10/14/2026

That’s all it took. One look and we were out the door faster than we came in. 😂

Every pool company has someone in Boss Mode keeping the routes running and the orders going out. At ours, it’s Dad. We still say he’s due for a shenanigans break.

Tag the person on your team who gives the look. And make sure to tag up in any videos where you're putting your favorite Skimlite tool to work! We'd love to support your content!
