I get asked a lot "What should I do before you come?"
The answer is pretty simple. As much or as little as you'd like. If you spend the time to pickup the floors and clear the counters, then I can clean more deeply and focus more on the house itself. If things are out that's fine too. I am happy to clean around and under what I can and I will usually dust the items I have to move as well.

However if you want to maximize the time I have while I'm there, here are a few tips for preparing before hand.

- Make sure all dishes are put either in the dishwasher or are on a drying mat or rack. It helps me clean the sink and not have to spend extra time moving them out of my way.

- Make sure clothes are in bins or on beds (assuming you don't want your sheets changed). If I don't have to move clothes while I'm vacuuming I can go faster.

- If you want me to dust a ceiling fan above a bed, put an old sheet on that bed because the dust bunnies dive off the fan onto the bed.

- Have your rooms set up the way you want them when I'm done. I will tidy if asked but my general rule is to leave everything as I found it, only cleaner!

- Remember not to fret if it doesn't look the same every time. I know life is unpredictable and messy and I don't ever begrudge anyone a messy house.

As of this Saturday (May 22nd) I am officially fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Meaning I will hit the two week mark, after my second shot, that means full 95% immunity. I will continue to wear a mask in your home, out of an abundance of caution, unless you tell me it's ok to take it off. I look forward to serving you in the safest way possible for years to come.

I am scheduled for my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday April 14th. I fully intend to get the second dose as soon as I'm able to. I want to protect myself to better serve my amazing clients.

I'm back in business after a long hiatus due to covid and pregnancy. I cover the Salem, Albany, corvallis area but I've been known to go to Dundee now and then as well. I can't wait to get to know my neighbors and help return and sense of normalcy and calm to our crazy lives. I have made a few additions to my service in light of our current pandemic.

- I wear a mask at all times in your home.
- I wear gloves at all times in your home.
- I use sanitizer spray on frequently touched areas of the house such as handles, light switches and faucets.
- I sanitize all my supplies between every house.
- I have a limit of 2 houses per day maximum to reduce possibility of transmission.

I take the risks to my clients and my family very seriously so please let me know in advance if anyone in your house has any covid symptoms. I will put your service on hold until everyone is symptom free for two weeks. Together we will get through this!

If there was one thing I would want all my clients to know it's this: Please don't worry if your house is a little less tidy then you'd like when I come. Obviously I can get more cleaning done if there is less in my way. However, I never judge, for any reason. No matter how bad it is, or how bad you think it is, I've always seen worse. I adore all my clients and I completely understand, life happens. Don't worry! Have a beautiful day.
