A little reminder of what kind of business I want to run. 💜🌼
Recently one of my clients experienced two devastating losses in her home within just a few days. She was alone, had no family nearby, and simply needed someone to sit with her.
So I canceled the rest of our clients for the day, We went and sat with her, and made sure everyone was rescheduled as soon as I could.
I know cleaning appointments are important. I know people have busy schedules, and I completely understand that my clients plan their days around my team. But sometimes life happens, and sometimes being a human being has to come before a cleaning appointment.
Over the years, my clients have become so much more than clients to me. They become people I care about, people I check in on, and people whose lives I get to be a small part of. In a lot of ways, they become family. 💜
And that’s exactly what I want Up A Daisy Cleaning to be.🌼
Cleaning is my business and how I make a living, and I take a lot of pride in what I do. But my morals, my compassion, and my general humanity will always matter more to me than a cleaning session.
So if you’re one of my clients and you’re ever going through something—whether you need a little extra help, someone to listen, or even just someone to sit with you for a while—I hope you know you can reach out.
I may not always be able to fix what’s happening, but I’ll always do my best to show up.
Because sometimes, being there is more important than getting the house clean. ❤️🌼
