Thanks so much to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday! My phone died as soon as I sent my mama a Happy Birthing Day text that morning! So if I didn’t respond to your text, I’m sorry! I appreciate you all so much for taking time to text and post and I’m so grateful to our Father who’s allowed me to see yet another year for His Glory! I spent the night before and day of cleaning and wrapping up our Brunswick house getting it ready to turn back over to our landlord. Love you and so grateful for you! Super grateful for the 5 years spent there. So many memories, so much trauma, so many learnings, so many blessings. Stopped by moms just in case she never received those morning texts and my brother Levon was in town! Super cool to see you and catch up. Love you. Fortune and I ended the day dining at Echo, reminiscing on all our favorite memories of Sweet Gum and really all things Glynn county. This birthday season has really been a changing of the guard for us in so many ways, the closing of so many chapters. So much gratitude for everyone along our path through sweet tears we honor you and with beaming smiles we look forward to thr memories we will make ahead.
For my birthday, I implore everyone who sees this to double back to your faith in Christ, not through the eyes of your pastor, internet guru, big mouthed local leader or anyone’s book. Chime back in with the actual Bible and the Holy Spirit for yourself. It’s a simple, genuine, heartfelt ask. It may feel silly but the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is the God who hears and gives wisdom without judgment. A lot is changing, secret long held plans coming together right behind the facade of massive distractions. Though we live in community there will come a time when only the individual - no matter the age or social status- will answer for their own heart, words and deeds. This is a special time we are all living through, literally the moments we’ve all been waiting for, for millennia. The Father is Love but His Justice is not based upon man’s ideas, it’s based on His Word. Live a life of Repentance and seek Him. All else will be given unto you. IRL. I’m a living witness- Being led, convicted and set aright daily. Here’s to 44, a brand new chapter in all the ways. Love y’all!
