Swipe for some of our biggest transformations 🤭

Have you ever considered replacing appliances, showers, toilets, etc. because you simply couldn’t get it clean?
We’ve had many clients reach out as a last resort before they spend a good amount of $$ and time replacing these items. I love hearing the common phrase with these messages…“You can try, but good luck”.

A few months ago, a client of mine passed away. A family who was one of my first clients years ago. I was hired by the son to clean his house while his father lived there in hopes to overcome cancer. I’ve spent the last few years getting to know them and help maintain the home during this difficult time. During cancer, retirement, job loss, and more.
It turns out the father and I had a lot in common. His life stories fascinated me. He encouraged me through my schooling journey. His dog was attached to me from the day we met, he told me he had never seen that before, which meant I must be a “good one” and he would’ve hired me in an instant had his dog reacted to me like that in a job interview.
I was asked to clean during his final days on hospice. I was scheduled to go and unfortunately he passed the day before I was supposed to be there. I was asked to still come and help them feel a sense of normalcy during this chaotic and difficult time. So I did.
To see the family cry, make those final calls of remembrance notifying everyone, and to go through that…reminded me of my father. I brought flowers and a card, the son cried when I handed it to him and I couldn’t help but cry, too. Nothing would ever be enough to take away the ache when a father passes. It was a hard day, but hopefully he knew other people cared and were there for his family. I hope that I was able to help make his last few years and few weeks on this earth more comfortable and be positive company for him. I’m grateful I was able to walk his dog when he was no longer able to, I’m grateful I was able to provide comfort to the dog that just lost his companion. I’m honored I was welcomed in the home during the most vulnerable time.
