Why your house still looks dull after being washed.

A lot of homeowners think their siding just needs a good cleaning but sometimes that’s not the real issue.

What you’re actually seeing is called oxidation.

Over time, the sun breaks down the outer layer of vinyl siding. This can also happen when siding is cleaned with too much pressure, which strips that protective layer. This leaves behind:

• Chalky feel
• Faded, uneven color
• Dull, washed-out look

(And here’s the important part)

A standard soft wash will clean the surface…
but it won’t fix the oxidation underneath.
