The Maintenance Tech Supervisor is responsible for managing the Maintenance division of Spencer Building Maintenance. Strong candidates will come equipped with a full range of knowledge, including but not limited to; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and dry wall repair within commercial building environments. The Maintenance Tech Supervisor must be well versed in client and vendor relations. The successful candidate will have proven skills in estimating labor and materials; and for large and small jobs. Applicants must have provable experience in adherence to strict time managing schedules and budgets. This position will be responsible for organizing and deploying Maintenance Techs, to the right place, at the right time, and with all the right materials, tools and equipment. The individual must have a critical eye for quality work and insure that all work performed meets our high standards
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in maintenance management within commercial building environments.
- Ability communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, vendors, and staff.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to hire, interview, discipline, and train Maintenance Tech employees.
- Local area knowledge.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Knowledge of Work Order Systems and Software applications
The Maintenance Tech Supervisor must be highly organized with strong time management skills, an understanding of prioritization, and be detailed oriented. He/she must exhibit a can-do attitude to provide excellent customer service and accountability. The Maintenance Tech Supervisor must instill trust in customers and employees alike through effective communication, demonstrating in word and deed the highest levels of integrity, and by providing and conveying proper urgency to all stakeholders. He or she must always be humble, joyful, and professional in every aspect of his or her duties.
This is full time $25-$30.00 per hour, with paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, 401k, life insurance, and medical benefits.
