Hey everybody…I'm Randy, and my wife and I own Rosemont Thrifty Wash in Rosemont Plaza. We have been asked almost daily if the laundromat being built next to 7-eleven is ours.
The answer is no, it's not ours. But here's the deal.
We’re not afraid of a little competition, but we think it's important for everyone to understand what's coming. The store being built across the street is being built and operated by a large corporation. When they open, they will be priced below us and offer free dry for a period of time, to get customers. We’re going to try and match their pricing, but if they succeed and put us out of business, they will then significantly raise their prices.
But we're not going to be bullied. We live here in Rosemont and we are determined to keep our doors open.
We also want to thank all of you that have already stood by us, its loyal customers like you that will keep this local business going.
