Our team was originally brought in to assist with a pool coping installation, but once we got on site, we saw an opportunity to completely transform the space. We recommended replacing the tired wood deck with a new paver patio and creating a new walkway around the pool to tie everything together.
We installed beautiful Bluestone Blend 3-piece paver set made by Cambridge Pavingstones With ArmorTec Matthew T Cambridge supplied by our friends from All In Stone
There is a lot more that goes into a project like this than what you see in the finished photos.
We worked closely with to coordinate the new liner, stairs, pool-cover inserts, and a riser for the skimmer. Our crew also poured a 14-inch concrete footing around the entire perimeter of the pool so the coping stones could be properly wet-set.
From there, we installed a perimeter drainage system to give any water escaping the pool or patio area somewhere to go.
And then there was the base work. 👀 🪨
More than 30 cubic yards of base stone went into this project, along with nearly 40 yards of topsoil. With the wet conditions we’ve been dealing with over the past several weeks, we essentially had to build our own access road just to keep the project moving and protect the surrounding property.
I’m extremely proud of the work our crew put into this one and, even more importantly, the perseverance they showed through some less-than-ideal conditions.
The homeowners ended up with much more than a pool enhancement. They now have a completely transformed outdoor space with a beautiful new lounge and entertainment area built to last.
They didn’t just get a new pool area. They Got Meticulous.
