Most ceramic coatings that fail early don’t fail because of the product—they fail because the surface wasn’t prepped right.
Even after a full wash and iron decon, wheels almost always have leftover polishing oils, finger grease, or soap film stuck to the clear coat. If you slap a coating over that, it’s bonding to oil instead of the wheel. It’ll look good for a few weeks, then wash right off.

We spray down every inch of the face and barrels with Gyeon Prep to strip those oils away. It leaves the paint totally bare so the coating can lock directly into the clear coat and last like it’s supposed to.

Doing things right takes a few extra minutes, but it’s the difference between protection that lasts a season vs. protection that lasts years.

When a Tesla Model 3 comes in wrapped in PPF and ceramic coated with Gyeon, proper maintenance is everything.
