This is why it is absolutely critical that you have a proper system for your hot tub. Your life literally depends on it. We know exactly what happened here— no GFCI or improper installation of GFCI. The GFCI protects patrons from electrical shorting of components within the tub. You’re getting into a box of water fed by 240v with 45+ amps. It can be completely safe. Or it can be improperly used and cause this very thing👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
