“Why Are Your Prices Higher Than Some Other Detailers?”
We get this question every now and then, and honestly… it’s a fair one.
The short answer?
Because we’re not just a bucket, a sponge, and a shop vac in someone’s driveway.
Running a real detailing business has a lot going on behind the scenes.
First off, overhead is real.
We pay for a shop, utilities, insurance, licenses, and all the fun adult things that come with running a legitimate business. That means when your vehicle is with us, it’s in a safe, insured, controlled environment, not parked under a tree hoping a bird doesn’t bomb it halfway through the job.
Then there’s the products and equipment.
The stuff we use isn’t the $9.99 “miracle wax” from the auto aisle. Professional compounds, ceramic coatings, pads, towels, extractors, steam machines, polishers, lighting systems… it adds up fast. But it’s also the difference between “looks clean” and “dang… that thing looks brand new.”
And let’s talk about experience.
Proper detailing, especially paint correction and ceramic coatings isn’t something you learn from a 3-minute YouTube video and a Harbor Freight buffer. It takes training, time, and a lot of practice to do it without damaging someone’s paint.
So yes, sometimes we cost a little more.
But when you add up the shop, insurance, professional products, specialized tools, and experience, it starts to make a lot more sense.
At the end of the day, we’re not trying to be the cheapest detail in town.
We’re trying to be the one you trust with your vehicle.
Because when it comes to protecting one of your biggest investments…
cheap usually ends up being expensive later.
