Since 1968 Roy’s Sewer Service has been the foremost provider of sewer and drain cleaning services in the North Bay.
Roy’s Sewer Services has an immediate need for a hard-working Drain Cleaning Technician Trainee. Successful candidates are problem solvers, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and won’t back down from a challenging task.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General Inspection to determine maintenance needs
• Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems
• Operate a variety of machines used in drain cleaning
• Clear clogged lines
• Ensure job site cleanliness and organization through all phases of the service process
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Work is performed in and/or around residential, commercial, and municipal properties (occasional need to access attic, crawl space, roof, hillside, etc.)
• Moderate to significant physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time.
• Occasional exposure to physical risk such as heat in excess of 100 degrees, sun exposure, walking up ladders, along with exposure to insects, rodents, and sewage
• Regularly lift and/or move heavy objects
• Frequently ascend/descend ladder and maintain balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
