GOD, I'M SORRY... I complain... but I woke up. I doubt... but I'm still breathing. I worry... but I'm still blessed. Forgive me for forgetting how much You've already done. Today I remember — everything is still in Your hands. Amen.
The weight of yesterday's worries.
The spiral of what-if thoughts.
The complaints that slip out before gratitude.
The forgetting of His faithfulness.
The guilt of an ungrateful heart.
Oh friend, this prayer lives in all of us. Those mornings when we wake already heavy with worry, when doubt whispers louder than faith, when complaints roll off our tongue before we even remember to say thank you. You're not alone in this struggle between human nature and divine trust.
But look — you woke up today. Your lungs filled with breath without you even asking. The sun rose again, painting mercy across the morning sky. These aren't accidents or coincidences. They're love notes from a Father who never stops providing, never stops sustaining, never stops holding everything together.
Your complaints don't disqualify you from His love. Your doubts don't diminish His faithfulness. Your worries don't weaken His power. He sees your human heart wrestling with trust, and He meets you there with endless patience and understanding.
Today is a new invitation to remember. To shift your gaze from the storms to the steady hands that calm them. To trade your anxiety for the assurance that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
You may see your failures and forgetfulness
He sees a beloved child learning to trust
You may see your complaints and doubts
He sees a heart that's still seeking Him
You may see your worries and fears
He sees opportunities to show His faithfulness
GOD, I'M SORRY... I complain... but I woke up. I doubt... but I'm still breathing. I worry... but I'm still blessed. Forgive me for forgetting how much You've already done. Today I remember — everything is still in Your hands. Amen.
Everything.
Still.
In His hands.
