Zak here with Hay-Z. It's been a crazy winter full of chaos, loss of loved ones and a new addition to my little family. In January we welcomed our son into this crazy world. As I get back into the swing of things this year, I am going to start focusing more on the servicing and mechanical work of construction and agricultural equipment. I still have all of my detailing equipment and will continue to take care of those that use me. I have recently bought a mini excavator so I may do some small jobs here and there as well. I always have both of my welders ready to go and now that I'm not turning wrenches full time, I have my toolbox home as well. Also do A/C work. Holler at me if you need your fleet serviced, greased or worked on. Or if you need a trench dug. Im here to keep you going. Give me a call.

Good afternoon everyone. It's been a crazy couple of months and I haven't posted anything in a long time. I'll add some vehicle details I've done over the winter to this post. I'm still here and busy! Back in January I started a new job at Yancey Brothers. Reason for this post is to let everyone know that now as a Caterpillar employee, I can no longer do any maintenance or mechanical work on CAT equipment. I am still good for all other makes and models. I can still detail all of your CAT machines. The weather is turning and I have some weekends to fill up. Give me a call to hop on my schedule. Yesterday morning I had a 40 minute drive from my hotel to the community center in Garren Creek, NC. I hadn't seen much damage up until I was about 20 minutes away from our meeting location. I started to see all of the trees down, tarps on roofs, debris scattered throughout. Then I turned onto the road where the community center was. I have no words as to what I seen. Met up with my group and we took right off and started showing up to addresses provided of people that needed immediate tree clean up. Around 11:30am we regrouped back at the community center to eat some lunch and figure out a game plan for the afternoon. We drove around for almost an hour looking for other community centers or temporary fire departments. Stopped at a church and talked to some folks who gave us an address over in Bat Cave. It was a 20 minute drive to this location and this little area is where we seen the most destruction. We spent the rest of the afternoon in Bat Cave clearing trees that were laid across a totally washed out road. I took a ton of pictures and videos. Please take your time to look through them. What you're seeing on the news and social media does no justice until you are there in person. All of the folks were extremely grateful we were there to help. I would like to plan a second donation drop and get back into Bat Cave maybe sometime after Thanksgiving. I will compile a list of things that are needed long term. Please continue prayers for the residents and donations to anyone and everyone who is headed that way to help. The last picture is the wonderful group of people I had the pleasure of working with yesterday. April organized the whole day for us and did all of the reaching out. I will tag her when I share this to my personal page so anyone can reach out to her to help as well.

Pulled into Bald Creek Relief center at about 7:10pm. I was greeted with at least 4 or 5 volunteers that were still there busting their rear ends! Quickly got my truck unloaded and I was given a tour of the facility. Very heart warming to see all of the donations that were flooding out of that place!! Staying in Hendersonville, NC tonight and headed to Fairview, NC first thing in the morning to help cut trees for the day. I will post pics and update everyone when I can!

Good morning everyone, this is the last week for me to get donations in. I am headed to NC Friday evening. As of right now I do not even have enough to fill my truck bed. I would like to at least get my truck bed full. Here is the list of things needed. Propane tanks can be small camping tanks or the tanks you use on your grill. I also just found out they are accepting electric heaters. Lets get together and help me get a full load to help multiple families in dire need! I appreciate all help you can give me! I will post my venmo for those of you that may not have time to shop but want to help.
