Over the past 200 years U.S. life expectancy has more than doubled with vast improvements in health and quality of life. However, while most people imagine medical advancements to be the reason for this increase, the LARGEST gain in life expectancy occurred between 1880 and 1920 due to public health improvements.

A higher level of understanding and implementation of proper cleaning and sanitation practices is what has provided a foundation for this unprecedented increase in life expectancy and quality of life.

Proper Cleaning and Sanitation has been recognized as the “Greatest medical advancement since 1840” according to the BMJ (formerly the British Medical Journal), and today Professional Cleaning Providers are trained to be preventative healthcare professionals by the American House Cleaners Association.

More than ever, professional cleaners across the country are needed to keep our homes and businesses clean and safe.

Cleaning tip time:
When dusting, start high then work your way down. If you have time, it’s good to finish with a good floor dusting and/or vacuuming.
Tip for optimal use of your bagless vacuums: Make sure to be shaking out that removable filter, I go outside somewhere and do it. Some can be rinsed and then left to air dry. You might need to replace it if there’s a lot of wear and tear. Doing this will maximize the vacuums air flow and keep the suction efficient, more importantly from vacuum motor burn out. Good luck!!
