Investing in our team. Investing in our customers.

For the past two days, our crew has been At Get Bent Academy, learning and refining the art of custom metal fabrication from industry professionals.

✅ Customer Service – We answer the phone. We communicate. We show up when we say we will. We take the time to educate you so you understand exactly what's happening in your home and how we're going to solve it.

✅ Integrity of Our Work – We don't cut corners. We don't recommend work you don't need, and we don't ignore problems that will come back later. Every exclusion is custom-built for your home because no two homes are the same. We stand behind our craftsmanship because we believe doing the job right the first time is the only way to do it.

🦇 Think that tiny gap isn't a big deal? A bat disagrees. Check out the video from a customers home!

This is exactly how bats get into your attic. They don't need a broken window or a huge hole—just a small gap along your roofline, soffit, fascia, ridge vent, or trim. Most customers dont even know that they even have bats! 😬

Once one bat finds a way in, others often follow, turning your attic into a roost before you even realize they're there.

At Catawba Wildlife, we don't just remove the bats—we find every active entry point and custom seal your home to help keep them from coming back.

If you see bats flying around your home at dusk, don't ignore it. That little gap today can become a much bigger problem tomorrow.

🦇 York County has now confirmed its 4th rabies case. As a reminder, August 1st marks the end of the bat maternity season, meaning bat eviction can begin again.

If you've been hearing scratching, chirping, or seeing bats flying around your home at dusk, now is the time to act. Waiting only increases the chance of contamination, property damage, and potential exposure to rabies.

At Catawba Wildlife, we perform humane bat eviction, permanently seal entry points, and provide attic cleanup and insulation remediation when needed. We don't just remove the problem—we help prevent it from coming back.

📞 Don't wait until a small colony becomes a major issue. Call Catawba Wildlife today to schedule your inspection.

A bat found in a Fort Mill neighborhood has tested positive for rabies, and four people who came in contact with it have been referred to their healthcare providers, the South Carolina Department of Public Health confirmed Monday.
The bat was found near Bailiwyck Green Boulevard and Cranborne Chase, a residential area in Fort Mill. No pets are known to have been exposed, according to the agency. It marks the fourth animal to test positive for rabies in York County this year.
The case is one of three the state announced together. Raccoons in Charleston County and Saluda County also tested positive. All three animals were submitted to the department's laboratory July 17 and confirmed to have rabies July 20.
Anyone who believes they, someone they know, or their pets may have come in contact with the bat or another animal that could carry rabies is asked to call the department's 24 hour rabies reporting line at 888.847.0902 and select option two.

Wildlife isn't the enemy—they're simply trying to survive.

If wildlife in homes wasn't causing damage, health concerns, and safety risks, companies like ours wouldn't exist. Our goal isn't to harm wildlife; it's to create solutions that protect both homeowners and animals.

That's why exclusion is the key. Keep wildlife where it belongs—in the wild—and your home protected for years to come.

🐍 Meet one of the good guys! Black snakes are nonvenomous and play an important role in our ecosystem by helping control rodents. While they're great to have around outdoors, they don't belong inside your home.

If you've got unwanted wildlife where it shouldn't be, give Catawba Wildlife a call.
