🎥 Why Does Catawba Wildlife Use Camera Monitoring?

Camera monitoring helps us:
✅ Identify the exact animal involved
✅ Confirm whether activity is current or old
✅ Monitor traps remotely for faster response times
✅ Ensure all animals are out before sealing entry points
✅ Show homeowners exactly what we're seeing

Whether it's squirrels, raccoons, bats, or rodents, camera monitoring gives us the evidence needed to recommend the right solution—not just a guess.
At Catawba Wildlife, we're committed to technology, transparency, and doing the job right the first time.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸
This Memorial Day, all of us at Catawba Wildlife want to thank the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

As we spend time with family and friends today, let’s never forget the cost of the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From our Catawba Wildlife family to yours — thank you to those who served, fought, and gave all. ❤️🤍💙

Despite the myths, opossums are actually VERY unlikely to carry rabies because their body temperature is lower than most mammals, making it harder for the virus to survive. While any wild animal can potentially carry disease, rabies in opossums is extremely rare.

These nighttime wanderers help our environment by eating: • ticks
• roaches
• rodents
• snakes
• carrion (dead animals)

So before judging these misunderstood critters, remember — they’re out there doing dirty work most people don’t want to do.

At Catawba Wildlife Control LLC , we believe in educating, relocating when appropriate, and helping homeowners coexist safely with wildlife whenever possible. 🦝🖤

Don’t let the looks fool you —the opossum is one of the most beneficial animals to have around your property!
These nighttime pest patrollers help naturally control unwanted pests by feeding on:
✔️ Cockroaches
✔️ Beetles
✔️ Snails & slugs
✔️ Small rodents
✔️ Snakes
They help clean up the environment and play an important role in nature’s balance.
Opossums are also excellent climbers, surprisingly calm animals, and usually prefer to avoid confrontation whenever possible. Most of the time, they’re simply passing through searching for food.
Nature gave us a built-in cleanup crew — and the opossum is part of it! 🐾

A mother’s instinct in the wild is truly amazing to witness. 🦝❤️
The moment mama sensed danger, her focus immediately shifted to protecting her babies. One by one, she carefully carried each pup out to safety — calm, alert, and determined every step of the way.

People often forget that wildlife moms are no different when it comes to loving and protecting their young. They will do everything they can to keep their babies safe. Watching moments like this is a reminder of just how incredible nature really is. 🐾

This is exactly how we like to handle mamas and babies during wildlife evictions — safely, carefully, and together whenever possible. Our goal is always to give them the opportunity to relocate naturally and keep the family unit together. ❤️

Happy 7th Birthday to our smallest Critter Getter, Conway McClain 🎉🦝💙

If you know Conway, then you know he is full of adventure, confidence, personality, and nonstop energy. He never meets a stranger, loves making people laugh, and already carries himself like a little leader. He’s bold, courageous, protective, and without a doubt a mini Robbie in the making.

Conway loves this wildlife life so much that one day he looked at us and said:

“Why do I gotta go to school? They don’t teach me nothing about being a wildlife guy.” 😂

And honestly… that pretty much sums him up perfectly. From riding in the trucks, releasing the animals, checking out jobsites, wanting to help with everything, and keeping the guys in line, this boy was born to be part of the Critter Getter crew.

Behind all the toughness and big personality is the biggest heart. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming and thankful God chose us to be part of his story.

Help us wish our smallest Critter Getter a BIG Happy 7th Birthday! 🎂🎈🛠️🦝

Last week, I had the honor of being selected to attend a Native American entrepreneur conference with Native Women Lead.

As a proud tribal member of the Catawba Nation, it meant even more to be surrounded by strong, driven Native women building businesses and pouring into their communities.

Grateful for the experience and the reminder of why we do what we do at Catawba Wildlife—with purpose and integrity.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary Catawba Wildlife Control LLC

10 years ago… it didn’t look like much.
Just a truck.
A magnet on the door.
And a man with a vision.

Robbie wasn’t backed by a big company.
No fleet. No big budget. No guarantees.

Just long days… late nights… and a decision to build something the right way.

There were moments people didn’t see
The slow seasons.
The tough calls.
The pressure of wondering if it would all work out.

And if we’re being real…
the sacrifices almost cost us everything!

Because building something from nothing demands everything!

Time. Energy. Attention. Presence.
But quitting was never the plan.

Because the truth is…
👉 Most businesses don’t make it.
👉 About 20% fail in the first year.
👉 Nearly 50% don’t make it past 5 years.

Step by step… job by job… customer by customer…

That one truck turned into two…
Then a team…
And now…
7 company trucks serving Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

Not built on shortcuts.
Not built on luck.
But built on reputation.

Because at the end of the day…
all you really have is the name on your back.

Proverbs 22:1 (NKJV):
“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

That verse isn’t just on our new trucks—
It’s been the foundation from day one.

Because what we were really building all along…
Wasn’t just a business.
It was a name people could trust.
And 10 years later…

That name is still what matters most.
To everyone who called, referred us, trusted us, and believed in us, you’re part of this story.
THANK YOU!!

Today we want to shine a light on the ones who don’t always get seen… but make EVERYTHING happen behind the scenes.

Ritchie and Annadale (with the whole crew at the The Daily Q)

While the trucks are out in the field, they’re the ones:
📞 Answering the calls
📅 Scheduling the jobs
📍 Keeping everything organized
💬 Communicating with customers
🧠 Solving problems before they ever reach the field

They keep the wheels turning, the team aligned, and the customers taken care of — even on the busiest, most chaotic days.

Truth is… without them, none of this runs the way it should.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🎉
We appreciate you both more than words can say. 💪

Big shoutout to one of our amazing past customers, Laura Hyatt 🙌

We just sent out our FIRST $100 gift card for a referral — and honestly, this one means a lot.

Because it tells us something bigger than just getting a new call…
It tells us you TRUST us enough to put our name on the line.

That’s something we don’t take lightly.

“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.” — Proverbs 22:1

We’ve built this company on one thing — our name.
And when you refer us, you’re saying that name stands for something.

So thank you, Laura, for the support, the trust, and for helping us grow the right way. 💪

And just know… we’re just getting started. 😉
