Clean as a whistle Housekeeping we are a residential cleaning service based out of Rochester,MN. We offer free in home estimates! I specialize in residential and commercial cleaning services.

I am also a personal assistant, depending on the specification. I love what I do and put love into my work! My go to cleaners! Both of these are must haves when I work. Picture 1: vinegar, dawn, and a few tablespoons of thieves....

My go to cleaners! Both of these are must haves when I work.

Picture 1: vinegar, dawn, and a few tablespoons of thieves. I use this on all my showers and tubs- stainless sinks as well! Non toxic, bleach free, and very economical. Mix 3/4 vinegar with 1/4 dawn, and a few tablespoons of thieves.

Picture 2: Sals Suds! This biodegradable, non toxic cleaner is a must for everything. I love to use it on wood floors, kitchen counters, and have even used it for polishing wood. Again, a little goes a long way! I put about 2 tablespoons of this in my cleaning bottle and fill the rest with hot water.

Floors!

My house was built in 1920, and I was lucky enough to inherit its original flooring. I wanted to find a good floor cleaner that wouldn’t leave them looking dull or foggy. I felt like I had tried EVERYTHING on them, and they would never look exactly the way I knew they could. Foggy, smudgy, dull. After trying everything under the sun, I found my magic. Thieves household cleaner! What! It’s an essential oil cleaner sold by Young Living. Nothing else cleans the way it does. I love that it’s non toxic also.
So now I’m curious- what is your go-to for hardwood? I love learning about new products and seeing those shiny floors!
