Today’s project: washing an old Karastan machine woven rug that was in a flood. We already treated it and rinsed and spun it in our centrifuge; next we gave it a bath in our 1,200 gallon washtub. Now we are pressure rinsing it! Lots of work to ensure a great outcome

🔥 A reminder that latest codes don’t allow for the use of screen on your dryer vent! As you can see in the picture from today’s dryer vent cleaning service, the screen acted to collect dryer lint, allowing it to also build up in the system.

This is primarily a fire hazard; however, it can make your dryer run less efficiently and cause a premature repair bill. If you have this type of screen on your vent, we recommend replacing it ASAP!
