I was told this a long time ago. I will admit it that I repeated it, but was eventually corrected. After being corrected I have tried to always correct when hearing this about daddy longlegs.

Hope you have a good day.

Make it a great day everyone. God bless you. Happy Easter.

Coming to back roads and highways near you.

♡ Give them space to cross, they aren't aggressive the just want to do their thing.
◇ Make sure they have space to walk in the same direction they were already heading because they are on a mission they have been repeating for over 90 million years.
♧ If you decide you want to help them get accross, in the direction they were already heading, pick them up carefully by the back of the shell because their head can reach almost halfway behind them to bite you hard and don’t like to let go.
♤ This creature really wants absolutely nothing to do with you in any sense of the word, but it is simply forced to deal with roads because of loss of ecosystems- they have been traveling these lands since the T-rex stomped around.

Same goes with the rest of the turtles to. They are awesome little creatures that just want to live their life the best they can.

🐭 3 Reasons You Don’t Want Mice in Your Home

♤ They contaminate food and surfaces
Mice leave droppings and urine anywhere they travel—pantries, cabinets, drawers, even countertops.

◇ They chew on wiring and materials
Their teeth never stop growing, so they gnaw on wood, plastic, and electrical wires—which can become a serious fire hazard.

♧ They build hidden nests
Insulation, stored boxes, and wall voids make perfect nesting spots. Once settled in, they multiply quickly.

♡ If you’re hearing scratching, seeing droppings, or noticing gnaw marks, it’s worth checking sooner rather than later.

You betcha—we’re here if you need a second look. 🤙

🐭 3 Fun Facts About Mice

• Their whiskers are like radar
Mice use their whiskers to “feel” the world around them, helping them judge space, movement, and danger—even in total darkness.

• They’re tiny escape artists
If a mouse’s head fits through a hole, the rest of its body usually can too. That’s why small gaps around homes matter.

• They’re mostly night owls
Mice are most active at night and have excellent low-light vision, which is why you rarely see them during the day.

🐭 Field Mice in Minnesota — 3 Things to Know

• They come inside for warmth, not food
As temps drop, field mice move into garages, sheds, and homes mainly to escape the cold—food is just a bonus once they’re in.

• They can squeeze through tiny gaps
A hole the size of a dime is enough for a mouse to get inside. Cracks along siding, utility lines, and garage corners are common entry points.

• They’re active year-round
Unlike some wildlife, field mice don’t hibernate. If you’re hearing scratching in winter, it’s not “too cold” for mice—it’s prime time.
