Microbial growth at the Air-conditioner vent! Why is this so common?
When cold air from your Air-conditioner meets warmer, humid indoor air, condensation forms on the vent covers. This damp environment, combined with circulating dust , provides ideal fuel for mold thrive.
To prevent microbial growth at your air conditioner vents. Keep your thermostat between 68°F and 72°F. This temperature range allows the AC unit to cycle frequently enough to pull moisture out of the air, keeping indoor relative humidity safely below 60%.
