💰 Random ways I save money as a professional cleaner (without sacrificing results):
✔️ Tear 0000 steel wool pads in half they last twice as long.
✔️ Store steel wool in the freezer to help prevent rust.
✔️ Break pumice stones in half so I only use what I need. If I use one on a toilet, I can toss that half without wasting a whole stone.
✔️ Give my oldest microfiber cloths the “dirty job” promotion. They become my toilet, grease, and restoration rags before they’re finally retired.
✔️ Use washable microfiber duster heads instead of disposable ones. My Swiffer and Athos dusters both have reusable heads.
✔️ Buy concentrated cleaners whenever I can. It saves money, takes up less storage space, and cuts down on plastic waste.
✔️ Refill spray bottles instead of buying new ones every time.
✔️ Wash microfiber separately and avoid fabric softener so they last much longer.
✔️ Use only as much product as needed more cleaner doesn’t always mean better cleaning.
✔️ Buy frequently used products in larger sizes when the cost per ounce makes sense.
