Sometimes a cleanout is about so much more than cleaning out a house. 💚
This family had already started the overwhelming process themselves, but after years—really, decades—of belongings, memories, clutter and projects, it became too much. They were exhausted, overwhelmed and simply didn’t know where to go next.
That’s where we came in.
We took over the chaos so they could step away, process their loss, and spend their time and energy where it mattered most—with their loved ones.
Over the course of this project, we removed decades of accumulated belongings, over 3 tons of scrap metal from a flooded basement, a 5th wheel trailer, dozens of tires, and cases of household hazardous waste. Along the way, we carefully set aside antiques, valuables, family photographs and other meaningful items. We even tarped the damaged roof to help protect the home from further weather damage.
By the end, what had felt impossible finally felt manageable again.
These are the projects that remind us why we love what we do. We aren't just there to haul things away. Sometimes our job is to walk into a situation that feels completely overwhelming and say, “We’ve got it from here.”
Being trusted with someone's family home, belongings and memories is something we don't take lightly. If we can shoulder a little of the stress and pain during an already difficult time—and help a family see the potential in a home again—then we've done something we're incredibly proud of.💚
