Happy New Year! My name is Danny Gonzalez, and I’m excited to share some important news about Detailer On The Hill.

First and foremost, we want to take a moment to honor the late Sara Long, whose incredible dedication and community spirit built Detailer On The Hill into the trusted and beloved business it is today. Her contributions extended far beyond the business, meaningfully impacting so many lives in our community. It is truly a privilege to carry her legacy forward.

A new chapter begins, and I am honored to carry the torch as the new owner. As a Richmond Hill local and small business owner, I’m committed to preserving the company’s core values while introducing exciting improvements to enhance your experience.

I also own Salty Soft Wash, an exterior cleaning company here in Richmond Hill, where we’ve built a reputation for excellence, trust, and delivering peace of mind to our clients. With that same mission in mind, we’re excited to announce that Detailer On The Hill will now operate as Salty Suds Auto Spa!

Good evening everyone. My name is Justin. Founder and co-owner of Detailer on the Hill. As some of you may know, my wife and business partner passed away Thursday night. We were in the process of selling the business, but never completed the process. Due to raising a daughter and also being a full time service member, I will be unable to continue running the business. With this being said, we will no longer be accepting detailing requests until the business has been sold and under new management. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I apologize for the lack of responsiveness since Saturday. After some challenging hospitalizations over the weekend and after so much struggle & hardship with her health, Sara with Justin & Riley, have come to the decision that Sara will enter hospice on Monday. This means she will pass, likely in the next few weeks, but at home surrounded by love & her family.

This is a challenging time for our family and the business is on pause while we find another amazing business owner who shares our passion for getting excellent results, doing good work and treating folks right, to take the reins and continue the work that we have put in and share the same values that sets our work apart.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this incredibly difficult time for our family as we lose Sara and continued support for Detailer on the Hill ❤️

Today is the day we honors members of a very special group of folks - folks who have served and protected our country through the different branches of the military in so many different capacities, costing them years of their lives, relationships, their health and often so much more.

Both sides of our families have many members that have served and Justin has served along side many of his brothers and sisters in the army who are now veterans. We love supporting our military family.

Today we are going to honor two of our family members in particular with a special promotion for any retired service member or their immediate family. We are calling it the “SSGT Bowker & CSM Stivers Special” for my brother Jack and Justin’s grandpa Hillis, who both served in the Army.

Any Veteran, Active Duty Service Member or Dependent who books a detail for today (and schedules prior to the end of the year) will receive $100 in extra services at no charge and their detail, paint correction or ceramic coating will be completed with a special discount in honor of their service.

Instead of the normal 50% deposit, our military members can also pay a flat rate deposit of $75 that goes towards the cost of service and reserves the day and time they choose.
