One month of mornings, all in one reel.

From October 3 through November 1, these animals and these words showed up every day. Foxes, owls, falcons, lemurs, and more, each carrying the same simple idea. Be a good person. Help your fellow man. Do the work right, and good things follow.

This is every motivational post so far, slowed down so you can actually read each one. Find the one that hits home today, and carry it with you.

Send this to someone who could use a good word today.

A lemur stays close to its troop. It shares the shade, keeps watch, and moves forward together. Be the kind of person others can count on, and good work will follow.

Share this with someone who always looks out for the group.

The manatee does not fight the current. It moves steady, does the work in front of it, and leaves the water calmer for everything around it.

Send this to a friend who could use a calm, steady start today.

Jenna holding Rocky, and me holding Athena, in our medieval falconry gear.

When we come to your event, we pour everything into making it everything it needs to be, right down to dressing the part. We are fun and educational. The facts and biology of owls, delivered in an entertaining way. And the history of falconry, a tradition that goes back over 4,000 years.

That dedication is what sets us apart. We are gregarious entertainers and enthusiastic educators, and we bring both to every event.

Book us for your next event. Call 636-633-2313.

A fox wastes nothing. Every step is quiet, every move has a purpose, and it never apologizes for being clever. Work smart, stay patient, and make it happen.

Send this to someone who does the quiet work nobody sees.

The owl does not rush the night. It sits still, keeps its eyes open, and does the work when the time is right. Stay calm, stay ready, and make it happen.

Tag someone who stays calm and ready while everyone else rushes.

The falcon holds steady in a hard wind and stoops only when the moment is true. Keep your head level, trust your training, and make it happen.

Pass this along to someone who keeps a steady head under pressure.

Owls and crows are mortal enemies. During the day, crows harass owls terribly. But when night falls, the tables turn, and the owls become the predators.

Last night Jenna and I started a crow abatement job at a very prominent parking garage in downtown St. Louis, where a huge murder of crows has been defecating all over the place. We brought two of our new young rescues, Moon Dancer and Moon Raider, and they dispersed the crows the natural way. No poisons, no traps. Just the presence of the predator the crows fear most after dark.

First photo: Jenna with Moon Dancer spreading her wings. Second: Jenna and Moon Dancer taking in the AT&T building. Third: me with Moon Raider, the Gateway Arch behind us.

Share this with someone who needs to see what an owl can do after dark.

The alligator does not chase the water. It waits, watches, and moves once, with purpose, so hold your ground, respect what can bite, and make your one move count.

Share this with someone who knows how to wait for the right moment.

The raccoon works the night shift with its own two hands and never waits for somebody else to do the job. If it is to be, it is up to you, so get started and figure the rest out as you go.

Send this to someone who gets up and gets it done.
