A lot of people look at housekeeping and think, “It’s just cleaning. How hard can it be?” But what they don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes.

Housekeepers work on their hands and knees, bend, lift, scrub, sanitize, organize, and pay attention to every little detail. We deal with messes that others don’t want to touch, work long hours, and still take pride in leaving a home clean, fresh, and comfortable.

Please don’t look down on a housekeeper or treat their work like it’s “less than.” Cleaning is honest work. It takes strength, patience, consistency, dedication, and pride.

And remember: you may see a clean house when we’re finished, but you don’t always see the time, effort, sweat, and energy it took to make it that way.
