One way to keep ticks off of you this summer:
1.) Optimal Clothing
Wearing long-sleeved shirts and pants helps keep ticks from getting onto your skin. By tucking your pants into your socks and your shirt into your pants, it makes it harder for ticks to climb up clothes. If you spray your clothes with repellent, you make it much harder for ticks to stay on your clothes.

Is There a Right Way to Remove a Tick?
Summer is around the corner, which means more lawn cutting and potential encounters with ticks (which Otho's Pest Management can help.) According to many experts, there is a right way to remove a tick. The #1 tool to use are tweezers, fine-tipped to be exact. You'll want to grasp the tick as close to the skin's surface and pull upward steadily with the tweezers' tips, so you don't squish the abdomen.
