“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”

So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭5‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Thankful that our Savior paid the ultimate sacrifice so we didn’t have to spend eternity without him!

Have a blessed Easter, everyone! ✝️

🎉 END OF WEEK RECAP! 🎉

What a week at Rise 🐝🔥

We kicked things off with our first honeybee removal of the season at The Women's Center —safely relocating a thriving colony where they can continue doing what they do best.

From there, the team was all over Raleigh handling squirrel trapping, keeping homes protected and critter-free.

Midweek, we hit pause for a much-needed team building day— team photos, unlimited sushi, and a few hours team building at Activate - Raleigh that definitely brought out everyone’s competitive side.

Back in the field, we completed a hybrid termite treatment—liquid protection on the exterior paired with a termite bait station installation for long-term defense.

On top of that, we powered through a ton of quarterly services (thank you to our amazing recurring customers 🙌).

And to wrap it all up? A bat exclusion with Steve to send us into the weekend strong.

Proud of this crew and the work we’re doing every single day 💪

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We’ve officially partnered with a local baker to bring you something truly… unforgettable.

Introducing: Madagascar Hissing Cockroach Pecan Pie 🥧🪳

👩‍🍳 Chef’s Notes:
- Handcrafted by a local bakery using only the finest ingredients
- Finished with whole Madagascar hissing cockroaches on top for that premium presentation
- Caramelized pecan filling with a glossy, “don’t look too close” glaze
- That signature crunch… now visible before every bite
- Locally sourced (and by local, we mean your attic & crawlspace)

This exciting new collaboration is available for a limited time only — or until our baker cuts ties with us.

Would you try a slice? Let us know in the comments below! 😂👇

🐝 First Honeybee Removal of the 2026 Season!🍯

Our team kicked off the season with a removal at The Women's Center’s newest location! Just before opening their doors, they discovered a full colony of honeybees had moved in.

Instead of exterminating them, The Women’s Center made the choice to have the colony safely removed and relocated 🙌

At Rise, we were able to carefully remove the bees — including the queen — and relocate them to a new home in Raleigh, where they can continue to thrive 🌿🍯

Huge shoutout to Justin for jumping into action and responding in under 24 hours to make this happen! 👏

Protecting people and pollinators — that’s what we’re all about. 💛

Steve Nye, our Wildlife Lead, recently completed a flawless bat eviction for a homeowner who had been dealing with an ongoing bat issue for months.

With bat moratorium season approaching and temperatures starting to rise, the homeowner chose to move forward with our humane eviction process—giving the bats a chance to relocate and thrive in a more suitable environment.

Bats aren’t the enemy—in fact, they’re incredibly beneficial. A pregnant or nursing female bat can consume up to 100% of her body weight in insects in a single night (that’s roughly 4,000–4,500 bugs!).
