Skylights are having a moment β and they should. βοΈ
A skylight does two jobs: it pours natural light into rooms that feel dark by noon, and it vents heat straight out the top of the house. These two went in on a shingle roof last season β sealed, flashed, and tied into the roof so they leak never, not someday.
The catch: a skylight is a hole in your roof, so the flashing has to be perfect. That's the part most "we also do skylights" guys get wrong. We do skylight repair, re-flashing, and full replacement as a specialty β not a side job.
If yours is fogging, leaking, or older than the roof around it, let's look at it.
