Through 84 SC Johnson community health clinics, more than 3 million people each year across Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Indonesia now have care closer to home, reducing the walk to treatment from three hours to just 30 minutes.

With the addition of two new mobile clinics in Tanzania in 2025, we can now bring care closer to communities who need it most.

For more than a century, SC Johnson has believed in giving back to communities around the world. Our commitment to giving began with our founder, Samuel Curtis Johnson, who donated 10% of his personal income each year to support civic improvements in Racine, Wisconsin, home to SC Johnson’s headquarters.

That legacy became part of the company itself in 1937, when SC Johnson began donating 5% of pre-tax profits to charity annually. More than eight decades later, this enduring commitment continues to guide our philanthropic efforts as we work to help create a healthier, more sustainable world with greater opportunity for all.

Plastic plays an important role in modern life, delivering safety, durability and affordability. But how much we use and what happens after matters.
That’s why we’re focused on reducing plastic, improving design and expanding recycling.

Since 2018, we’ve reduced virgin plastic by 33%, cut 12,000 metric tons of plastic overall and increased post‑consumer recycled (PCR) content to 25% across our global brands.

2025 brought meaningful progress across our key initiatives to create a better world.

✅ We delivered on our plastic reduction goals with 25% post‑consumer recycled plastic use and a 33% cut in virgin plastic.

✅ The World Health Organization granted a recommendation for spatial repellents, expanding access to our not‑for‑profit solutions fighting insect‑borne diseases.

✅ We also achieved a 72% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and reached 47% renewable energy use globally.

✅ Through global partnerships, we supported 750 organizations and helped more than 7.4 million people.

From everyday choices to wider systems, reducing plastic pollution takes shared action.

Ocean Plastics: Research and Action, supported by SC Johnson, is a research-led exhibition at Royal Holloway, University of London exploring how plastic can become waste and move through rivers, waterways and oceans when it escapes waste systems.

Through real-world examples and interactive displays, visitors can learn more about the connections between plastics, sustainability and reducing plastic waste.
