Yes, the Maytag does have a 10 year warranty, but don’t be fooled. It only covers the tub/basket and a couple related items. It’s not a 10 year full coverage warranty as they lead you to believe. Once again, you can’t believe everything you read. If you want good advice on what to buy, ask the technicians who work on them daily.

For all of you that may be home today doing housework, here are a few handy tips:

If you have a front-loading washer, and you've finished your laundry, leave the main door and dispenser door open to allow air to flow and help eliminate odors and mildew, which is the most common complaint of front - loaders.

Always pre-rinse your dishes before loading your dishwasher. Even though most of today's dishwashers have grinding/chopper blades, they aren't always 100% effective. And besides, waste food belongs in the trash, or down the drain.
