Rainy days in the Sunshine State. 🌧️☀️

It's been one of those gray, rainy days here in Southwest Florida, but sometimes a little rain is the perfect reminder of just how lucky we are to call this place home.

Did you know the area averages around 266 days with sunshine each year? That's nearly three-quarters of the year with at least a little Florida sunshine!

While much of the country prepares for colder temperatures and winter weather, we're usually enjoying warm breezes, beautiful sunsets, and days spent outdoors.

It's one of the many reasons vacationers fall in love with Southwest Florida, and why so many of our guests return year after year.

So today, we're appreciating the rain, slowing down a little, and feeling extra grateful for all those beautiful sunny days ahead. 💙

After all, even paradise needs a rainy day once in a while.

We were REEL excited to be part of the fun today! 🎣🎃🐟

We had such a great time at Home Matchmaking Realty's 4th Annual Trunk or Treat!

We traded in the traditional candy bowls for a little fishing adventure, and it was so much fun watching the kids fish for candy and prizes! 🍬

We love getting involved in our community, supporting our fellow local businesses, and seeing so many families come together for a fun afternoon!

A little extra comfort for some very deserving paws 🐾💙

Today we dropped off over 100 towels and a bunch of blankets at one of our favorite places to support, the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County!

As we refresh linens at our Boda homes, we often have towels and blankets that still have plenty of life left in them, even if they’re ready to retire from guest stays. We love knowing they can help keep shelter animals comfortable while they wait for their families.

The team is always so appreciative, and getting to love on some of the animals ready for adoption made today’s visit even sweeter!

During our visit, we learned that foster homes are especially needed while they work through renovations. If you’ve been thinking about fostering, now would be a wonderful time to reach out. And if you’re ready to add a new family member, go meet some of the sweet faces waiting there. ❤️
