Our hearts are with everyone affected by the Aspen Acres Fire.

The Burton’s Plumbing & Excavation family is keeping all of the residents, firefighters, first responders, ranchers, and volunteers in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

We know many families are facing uncertainty, and we’re grateful for the brave men and women working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and livestock.

To those who have been evacuated or impacted, please know that our community stands with you. We are praying for your safety, for the protection of your property, and for the safe return home of every family.

Stay safe, follow evacuation orders, and continue to support one another. Southern Colorado is a strong community, and we’ll get through this together.

Last night, so many of our friends, neighbors, and family members were forced to seek safety within our community. Unfortunately, this is only the beginning as we continue to wait for updates on the Beulah Fire.
Many beloved pets have also been displaced and are now being cared for by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in Pueblo. They are continuing to accept animals that need temporary shelter during this emergency, but they need our community's help to care for them.
Current urgent needs at HSPPR:
🐾 Large towels
🐾 Floor fans (to help with the heat)
🐾 Dog food
🐾 Cat food
🐾 Cat litter
In addition, the Pueblo County Fairgrounds, which is housing evacuated large animals, is requesting donations of clean buckets for feeding and watering livestock.
