Kendall Cleaning Service is currently looking for a part-time Virtual Assistant to help manage the behind-the-scenes operations of the business.

Tasks would include:
• Scheduling clients and staff
• Managing calls, texts, and emails
• Sending invoices and tracking payments
• Client follow-ups and communication
• Staff communication and schedule coordination
• Calendar management and appointment confirmations
• General admin/computer work

This position is NOT entry level. Looking for someone who:
• Has strong experience with technology and business software
• Learns systems quickly and can troubleshoot independently
• Has previous experience working with or assisting a business owner
• Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Can multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Is professional, reliable, and responsive

Experience with scheduling systems, QuickBooks, Jobber, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and customer service is strongly preferred.

This would start part-time with room to grow as the company continues expanding.

People see the finished clean but don’t always see everything happening behind the scenes to keep a cleaning business running

The constant
emailsTextsQuotesEstimatesSchedulingReschedulingCollecting paymentsPaying staffManaging staffHandling client concernsRestocking suppliesWashing and folding ragsCleaning vacuums and equipmentMarketingPhone calls at all hours

And then actually cleaning houses on top of all of it 🤣

We have delegated some tasks over the years like bookkeeping taxes and parts of marketing because at some point you physically can’t do everything alone anymore but even with help it’s still a full time job constantly answering the phone managing schedules and keeping everything moving smoothly behind the scenes

When we leave your home after a cleaning our work day usually isn’t over especially as the owner. During busy season I’m usually working from 8am-8pm and honestly don’t even know what a real day off is unless I physically hand my phone to someone else 🤣

It’s exhausting at times but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ve built this business from the ground up and I’m proud of what we’ve created over the last 8 years

I just don’t think people realize how much work goes into running a service business behind the scenes every single day!
