Welp- as far as I've heard... Northern Minnesota(+Canada) had an unlikely tornado downing a bunch of trees. Instead of giving out the trash wood, they charged people to come cut and take it.

Obviously no one wanted to pay for splintered and rotting wood- so there was a bunch of "tinder" laying around waiting to be set ablaze. And sure enough-

This is what I've heard from family in northern Minnesota. I'm down in Pittsburgh... And the air quality is bad bad. Just crazy that the smoke can blanket entire parts of this huge ahh country. My thoughts are with those even more affected- 🫶
