Hello everyone! Haven’t posted in a while! Here we go with the question I’ve been asked frequently in the last month by my customers.
That question is, I have roof damage due to hail, but the roofing company said my chimney cap is still in great shape? Do I need to have my chimney inspected before new roof is installed and can you take pictures for my insurance company? My answer is, absolutely you need to have your chimney inspected by a qualified chimney professional! You do not want to make multiple claims when it should’ve been addressed and brought up to the insurance company the first time they were out there or on your property. If you guys have any reason to believe there is some damage to your chimney or chimney cap. Please reach out and I can help to make the process as smooth as possible! Remember, you can always send me pictures or any questions via text it will always be free! Have a great day

Hey folks hope all you guys are getting or are ready for this winter! A few pointers to help you prepare! (1) Have your fireplace at a minimum inspected by a chimney professional, (2) make sure all smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors are working properly,(3)buy your firewood asap! (15-20% moisture content in your wood is best to burn and recommended) excessive moisture in your firewood will create potential dangerous creosote deposits in your chimney! (4) have your gloves, flashlight and metal bucket ready for the burning season. (5) do not wait to book services during the holiday season, if you plan on entertaining for the holiday season with a cozy fire book now, do not wait til Christmas Eve and expect next day service from most companies. Hopefully some of these tips helped you guys?! Remember you can always call me for free with any questions 2145335185. Call me asap to get on my schedule, I am booking up pretty fast but I will do my best to get you on my schedule asap! Don’t forget that my service also includes free dryer vent inspection, I take before and after pictures of all my work! Looking forward to keeping your fireplace and chimney in tip top shape! Confidence in using your fireplace is priceless!

Had a customer today who hasn’t used her fireplace in 30 years!? Basic sweep with level 1 safety inspection. She wanted to start using it again but was afraid to, obviously all the dog hair in firebox presented a fire hazard. I put a little love in doing a minor log service at no extra charge. This customer requested larger lava rock which I had on the truck. This why love doing what I do for my customers and community of fireplace owners! It’s not always about the money … it’s about showing value to your customers! Money will come and go but the love you put into your craft is priceless! Remember folks I’m always available to help you with your fireplace needs. Call or text 214-533-5185

If you are having dryer vent issues let me know. It could be a number of things. This time of year with all the hail damage and roof replacements, is a time to be aware of your dryer vent termination cap. Why, some will ask. Well unfortunately roofers are not venting experts, not their fault. They will replace your vent cap with an attic vent cap just this one! Which will eventually clog up and create water stains at ceiling area in laundry roof. Dryer has to be re ran afew times which means more wasted electricity and most of all can create a fire hazard!

Hello everyone! I have few potential safety hazards that people should be aware of! The Christmas spirit is in the air and homeowners are decorating their home, beware of your Christmas tree placement near your fireplace! Tree should be at least 36 inches away from fireplace opening. Stockings, garlands and any other decorative items hung on fireplace mantle, above fireplace should be at least 12 inches away from top of firebox opening. Highly recommend to remove stockings while operating fireplace! The number one hazard is do not throw your Christmas tree clippings into fireplace, throw them in the trash! Tree clippings will ignite rapidly and get out of control in a hurry! Hopefully these tips will help you and your family to safely enjoy the Christmas season! This week will be running a 249$ special with a bonus for first responders, teachers, military and seniors discount!

Had a referral job in Houston this weekend! Yes Houston… The whole reason why I started my own chimney business was to help people, honest service, customer service, educating my customers about fire safety and maintenance of their fireplace and chimney!
