And how is it different from regular tree service?

Short version: hazardous tree mitigation is about making a dangerous tree safe, while regular tree removal is just taking a tree down because you want or need it gone.

Here’s the clear breakdown:

🌩️ Hazardous Tree Mitigation

This is safety-first work, usually urgent.

Goal: reduce immediate risk to people and property
When: after storms, in high winds, or when a tree is damaged/unstable
What it includes:
• Removing broken or hanging limbs (“widowmakers”)
• Stabilizing or dismantling trees leaning toward homes/lines/roads
• Sectional removal with rigging or cranes
• Working around power lines or structures
• Emergency or 24/7 call-outs

It’s more technical, higher risk, and requires specialized equipment and training.

🌳 Regular Tree Removal

This is planned and non-emergency.

Goal: remove a tree for landscaping or convenience
When: tree is healthy but unwanted, too close to a building, or for remodeling
What it includes:
• Cutting down the whole tree
• Stump grinding (optional)
• Minimal urgency
• Lower complexity in most cases

Why mitigation usually costs more

Hazard work involves:

💛 Cleaning for Compassion Post

Have you ever thought about how one act of compassion can change someone’s entire life?

On December 4th, I’ll be flying out to join some of the strongest cleaners I know Amy Landers from Boss Lady Cleaning Hacks, KeeksCleaning, Kayle’s Cleaning, and several incredible local cleaners for something truly meaningful: Cleaning for Compassion.

This campaign isn’t just about cleaning a home.
It’s about giving someone hope.
It’s about showing people who feel overwhelmed, isolated, or stuck that they’re not alone — and that there are real humans willing to show up for them.

Life gets heavy. Sometimes the mess around us reflects the weight we’ve been carrying inside. And if you’re in that place right now… if you’re struggling… I want you to know this:
